Bullseye 🎯

I was on the verge of shock upon hearing the significant other's guess earlier.

So, background: a longtime friend of hers, and apparently her father's as well, came to visit. Along with the visit, came the usual talks and gifts.

Though simple, one can't help but to get attacked by jealousy.

"Babe, are you jealous with him?" Out of nowhere I was shot with the question.

But to be frank, of course I am.

The visiting family is a friend of the visited. All the talks went fluent and eloquent, though one's not entirely sure since there's the language barrier.

Also, one got 'commanded' to do working errand in front of the guests. One's pride can't help but feel hurt and discouraged.

Comparatively, One's family can barely communicate to each other inside of the family, let alone doing an inter-lingual communication.

Last call attempt, one's beloved maternal figure also refused to call, blaming on the lost spectacles. 

Somehow one can't help but feel that the figure was either lazy to dress, or simply nervous owing to the fact of being socially-isolated for a long time. One strongly suspects that it's the latter.

In addition, one also feels discouraged by oneself. Years went by without proper socialization, now the effects are creeping in. One had no real role-model of a sociable persona.

One is always fine with being alone.

But now, one can't help but to feel lonely.

And definitely jealous.
